Creating " Jordan Manor Estate " 2010
The "CHILLS" & "THRILLS" of "CREEKING DOORS" and "CREEKING FLOORS" will be just part of the experience in our "SPOOKTACULAR" NEW display "JORDAN MANOR ESTATE". This year we will bring together all of our Halloween theme park style attractions into a complete entertainment experience for all ages.
Monster Hall
Monster Hall will be this years new attraction. Guests will enter through a Roman Gothic style facade entrance into a dungeon like chamber that will feature over 2 dozen grotesque monsters in a "monsters inc." style display. After years of collecting up many masks including those of Lorne and Bob the time has come to bring them to life together. My plan includes making many of them into fan-o-matronics to bring a lot of motion into the display. If there is time a special "British magical school boy" may be included.
Pet Cemetary (2010 update)
A part of Lorne's collection was transformed into a PET Cemetary. As most of his tomb stones were about half the size of mine and he had included 6 sections of 24 inch picket fence I thought it would be cool to bring them togther to make this project. The stones were refurbished with new paint and pet epitaphs and the fencing was repaired with new rails and a few new pickets. Bob's collection included a lot of smaller out door props that I will use to improve this part of the display this year.
"Jordan Manor" Haunted House
Our original Haunted House (the garage building) will be transformed into "Jordan Manor". The front facade will be upgraded and painted to look more like a Mnaor House. There will be minor changes up front inside but a major reno in the back which will include a new control booth that will have a viewing port to Witchy and a drop panel feature. It will also be more comfortable in the cold weather. The drunk Pirate is moving out into the new Blue Beard's cave and the fortune teller from the ET room will move in. Beauty and the Beast will stay but in a new location.
"The Pirates of Blue Beard's Cave"
The tunnel will be expanded into "The Pirates of Blue Beard's Cave" . The drunk Pirate skeleton and the ship wreak skeleton will come together in this extention to form a complete pirate attraction along with Jack Sparrow. I am also planning a water feature in this display.
The "Glow Gallery Carnival"
The glow gallery will be re-done on the inside with a new glow painted set and some new glow feature props such as a GIANT clown head. Many picture ops.
Original Cemetary Fence
The original cemetery fence will get new BAT finials that will be cut fron 1/4" plywood on my new scroll saw. Paint and repairs also.
Jordan Estate Grounds
The Jordan Estate Grounds will be more lavishly decorated than ever before. We have a collection of props that have been stored for years that will be brought out to embelish the entire site into a total Halloween spooktacular!
