Continuing the Creation of "The Haunting of Jordan Manor Estate " 2011
The "CHILLS" & "THRILLS" of "CREEKING DOORS" and "CREEKING FLOORS" will be just part of the experience in our "SPOOKTACULAR" NEW display "The Haunting of Jordan Manor Estate". This year we bring together all of our Halloween Theme Park Style Attractions into a complete entertainment experience for all ages in honor of our 30th Anniversay Hallofest Celebration.
Monster Hall (2011 update)
Monster Hall was last years major new attraction. Guests enter through a Roman Gothic style facade entrance into a dungeon like chamber that featured more than 15 grotesque monsters in a "monsters inc." style display. After years of collecting up many masks including those of Lorne and Bob the time came to bring them to life together. My plan this year includes making some of the monsters into "fan-o-matronics" to bring some motion into the display. There will also be some upgrades to the props and lighting. The music from the bar scene in Star Wars will continue to be the theme music to this display.
Pet Cemetary (2011 update)
A part of Lorne's collection was transformed into a PET Cemetary. As most of his tomb stones were about half the size of mine and he had included 6 sections of 24 inch picket fence I thought it would be cool to bring them togther to make this project. The stones were refurbished with new paint and pet epitaphs and the fencing was repaired with new rails and a few new pickets. Bob's collection included a lot of smaller out door props that I will use to improve this part of the display again this year.
"Jordan Manor" Haunted House (2011 update)
Our original Haunted House (the garage building) will finish being transformed into "Jordan Manor" for 2011. The front facade upgrade and painting will be completed to make it look more like a "Manor House". The minor changes up front inside have been completed but the major reno in the back will continue this year. The new control booth that has a viewing port to Witchy and a drop panel feature is done and more comfortable for the cold weather. The drunk Pirate is moving out into the new Blue Beard's cave. The vacated space will possibly become a seance room or jail cell. You'll have to visit us to find out what it became. Beauty and the Beast is now in the new location.
"The Pirates of Blue Beard's Cave" (2011 update)
This project was supposed to be completed in 2010 but never made it. This year the tunnel will be expanded into "The Pirates of Blue Beard's Cave" . The Drunk Pirate Skeleton and the Ship Wreak Skeleton will come together in this extention along with Jack Sparrow to form a completely new Pirate attraction. A Water Fall feature, digital sound and special lighting will make this a Pirates Ultimate Adventure.
The " Grim Grinning Ghosts" Grave Yard "NEW for 2011"
I am creating a "new" grave yard at the west end of the grounds that will have it's own RUSTIC style fencing, tomb stones, monuments and inhabitents. It will be brought to life with music and a special effects "Light-o-rama" light show produced by Ben Jordan. It should be Spooktacular!
Hallowindow "New for 2011"
This year in the west front wndow of the house we will present the F/X video animation "Hallowindow".

Original Cemetary Fence and Grave Yard Refurbishment 2011
The Original Tomb Stones, Monuments and Facades of the "Peaceful Meadows" Grave Yard will be repaired, painted and returned to their original glory. The original cemetery fence will get new "BAT" finials that will be cut fron 1/4" plywood on my new scroll saw and be painted and repaired.
Jordan Estate Grounds 2011
The "Jordan Estate Grounds" will be more lavishly decorated than ever before in celebration of our 30th Anniversary. We have a collection of props that have been stored for years that will be brought out to embelish the entire site into a total Hallofest Spooktacular!
