To All of You - Our Special Thanks

To those of you who have unselfishly given their personal time to help make our haunt a success during our 2008, 2009, &2010 seasons- THANK YOU!

With Out - This Would Not Be Possible!   My Biggest THANKYOU of all is to Lorraine and Benjamin Jordan - my family, with out whose help this display would not be possible. They both make the largest sacrifices and biggest contributions of anybody else. The support of my Wife and Son is without question is the reason for my success.

Head Artist: Mary-Ann Fernandes my beloved sister-in-law and extremely gifted artist, I thank her with all my
heart! Her contribrutions over the many years of our Haunted House have enhansed the over all experience for thousands of guests. Some of her best work can be seen on "Belle" in Beauty and the Beast, "Peter Pan", "Jack Sparrow" and her awesome contribution in 2010 of the drop panel portrait of the "Victorian Gentleman" hanging in our portrait gallery. She also acts as our lead artistic photographer - some of her many pics can be seen in our gallery and slide show. And finally she also contributes her valuable time as staff each Halloween.

Garage Roof: ANDY BAXTER of Burkeville & Safeway Fame and my close friend spent Sept. 11,12,& 13th, 2009 with me (Tim) risking life and limb, muscle aches and minor injuries to re-roof my garage (the main Haunted House building).  His contribution of time, his pick-up truck, his ladder and other assorted tools is the BIGGEST favour I have ever asked of a friend for the Haunted House.  While we joked with each other that we were the contractors that Mike Holmes was always talking about we agreed that in the end he would probably give us about a 95 out of a 100.  Without Andy this task for me just would not have been possible.  THANKYOU Andy sooooooooo much for helping make this 30 year legacy for the Haunted House!!

Special Neighbour: LYNN BRAUN who lives next door, has for all the years she has lived here (Burkeville), not only put up with her crazy neighbour but has generously contributed electrical power (via an extention cord over the fence) and temporary storage space in her garage during the Halloween season. She assumed these favours from my former neighbour Neil Hinds when she moved in and with out question has continued to bring the Haunted house to life every year. THANKYOU Lynn for your electricfying help over these many years.

2009 Display Set - up: BOB FREEMAN of Burkeville and my NEW friend from down the lane. Bob came down to introduce himself to me and ended up volunteering himself to help me with the massive set - up that occurs every year in the days close to openning. He spent about 10 days with me braving the cold, wind, rain and my many naterings while paying careful attention to learn the details of the set - up. This is the first time I have allowed anybody but family into my inner set - up sanctum and Bob truly earned his place. He has expressed interest in helping out with the 2010 projects during the next year. I am looking forward to working with him. THANKYOU Bob for your tremendous help with the set - up and helping to reduce my usual high stress level during this time.

2010 Display set-up: Paul "The Skunk-Buster" contributed a sunday afternoon of his time just when i needed it. I took full advantage of his skills to rapidly complete Monster Hall and Beauty and the Beast. He also contributed a big bag of misc. props and a Vintage "Jacobs Ladder" lightning prop which will be added to the Lab in 2011.Thankyou Paul for you help, your contributions, your advice on things electrical, and your friendship.

Sea Island Community Association: Thankyou for all of your efforts in making traffic control and safety such a high priority each Halloween Night. I would like to give special thanks to my neighbour Pete Mules (one of the 2010 road crew members) for the special attention he gave to us in creating a walk way in front of our display and ensuring that the lane at our display entrance was closed during Halloween Night 2010. These measures relieved me of considerable stress in having to deal with vehicle traffic. We truly appeciate all of you and your thoughtfulness and concern during this hectic time.

If you are reading this page and have volunteered your time, talents or materials and have NOT been included and wish to be, please email me at tjchef@shaw.ca.  Our apologies if we have missed your name.
